Description

Abeti Aja is Yoruba for ‘like dog ears’.

It’s a type of fila(cap) having a triangular form with two triangular flaps sticking out and bent upwards resembling dog ears.

Caps in Yoruba land can also be a means of communication. It is important to note that in Yoruba land when you wear your cap to the right, it indicates that you are married, while if it is worn to the left, it shows you are still single.
