Remi & Jeremy

Superstitious Remi and skeptical Jeremy explore the african continent, discovering new cultures, bursting old myths and finding ways to help people with technology.

Remi

Agile, fun loving and superstitious, Remi just looves everything spiritual. Her simple mindedness makes it easy for her to believe everything she is told about deities and she’ll go to any length to receive their blessings.

Jeremy

Skeptical geek, Jeremy is never going to believe anything he can’t prove scientifically. Rather than trust in any ‘god’, Jeremy’s faith is in his gadgets, gizmos and his trusty old gps device.

Story

"the kids will learn to find a middle ground between myth and science and creatively solve problems for the people they come across."

Despite the science behind the water cycle and rain forming, it’s
still a very common occurence here for the Amójò (rainmakers) to halt the rain on market days (Ojo oja). This will confuse the logic out of any one foreign to these parts.

With this show, it is adventures around ‘conflicts’ like this that Remi and Jeremy will explore. Their polarizing differences in perspectives and beliefs ultimately lead them to the same destination: adventure.

Throughout the show, the kids will learn to find a middle ground between myth and science
and creatively solve problems for the people they come across.
